The explosive organ of Nate Lucas, high energy, and an electric Red Rooster vibe create one exhilarating night of music. All-star musicians, including, Victor Wise, John Smith, Gary Fritz, and others including a cavalcade of spectacular vocalists for one explosive night of music! Come out for a drink and a bite, stay for the show and dance if you feel it!

Frank Lacy is our first master in residence, Every Monday night Mr. Lacy is bringing his Jazz, Soul, Funk and Fusion sides in residence at the El San Juan. Watch Frank Lacy and his varied bands stretch out on the music. Come bring your instrument and join in on the fun. Come out and witness first hand this magical musical ride through the minds of the masters.

JOHN COOKSEY’S SPONTANEOUS COMBUSTION! 9PM -1AM
Paris Blues is a historic Blues and Jazz club in Harlem. Harlem’s oldest dive bar but unlike most dive bars, Paris Blues has amazing nightly performances. There is no cover for shows; they even serve nightly food for those wanting. There’s typically a two-drink minimum.
John Cooksey, Drummer writer-Band leader, blows it up!! Cooksey worked with artist such as Ashford and Simpson, Noel Pointer, Phillis Hyman, Roy Ayers, Carlos Garnet, Micheal Urbainiak & The Persuaders. If you like to party on Tuesday, this is it! Bring dancing shoes!

Paris Blues is a historic Blues and Jazz club in Harlem. Harlem’s oldest authentic dive bar with amazing nightly performances. Master saxophonist Les Goodson leads an all-star cast. Les Goodson (Tenor Sax), Marcus Persiani (Piano), John Cooksey (Drums), Don Pate (Bass).
No Cover! Free Food! Surprise Guests! A tourists favorite; makes for a great melting pot.

Phil Young leads a band of master musicians in a seriously hot jam in Harlem. A perfect place to be on a Thursday night in Harlem. The food is the finest Caribbean fare. A very local and warm atmosphere.

Legendary saxophonist Bill Saxton blows up his own speakeasy on West 133rd, the original “Swing Street”. Harlem’s only authentic speakeasy got its start in the early years of Prohibition during the 1920’s. If you want to step back into a bygone era of the small, cozy elbow touching Harlem parlor, with live jazz”in your face”and outrageous jazz musicians, you must come to see Bill Saxton lead the Harlem All Stars on Friday nights!

Just a few steps from the legendary Apollo Theatre, Showman’s is a rare pearl in the busy and chaotic NYC. Harlem’s longest standing jazz club, serves up cocktails with a side of history. It is an authentic home of jazz with a B3 Hammond organ to prove it. Club opens at 2pm, the music starts 9:30PM – 2:00AM, and while there is no cover for the club, there is a two-drink limit with a set price of about $7 per drink.
